Michelle Witters is a seasoned professional with a rich background in Human Resources, specializing in selection, strengths coaching, employee engagement, and leadership development. With a career spanning nearly three decades, she has honed her skills and expertise to create environments where individuals, teams, and organizations can thrive.

Michelle’s impressive journey includes a significant tenure at Gallup, where she served as a consultant for 18 years. During this time, she focused on selection, assisting managers and leaders in building exceptional teams by choosing talented individuals who were the “right fit” for their roles, teams, or organizations. Her expertise in this area laid the foundation for her subsequent roles.

Later, Michelle joined LSC as a Human Capital Consultant, continuing her focus on selection, strengths coaching, employee engagement, and management and leadership development. Her passion for creating great cultures and empowering individuals to use their strengths each day became evident as she led initiatives to enhance workplace environments.

At Think Whole Person Healthcare, Michelle played a pivotal role in recruiting and hiring the best talent to establish a world-class healthcare system. She later assumed the role of Director of People Resources, overseeing HR operations and fostering an environment where employees could utilize their strengths, be authentic, and develop in their careers.

Michelle returned to her consulting roots with LSC, where she continued to apply her expertise in recruitment and selection, strengths coaching, and culture development. She later ventured to East West Tea Company, contributing to the creation of a recruitment and selection approach that attracted and retained top talent while fostering a thriving workplace culture.

Michelle’s “why” revolves around creating environments where people can thrive in all aspects of their lives. Her passion lies in guiding individuals through self-discovery, enabling them to unleash their potential and be their authentic selves. With over 30 years of experience studying strengths in people, Michelle is an expert in coaching managers and leaders in their development and guiding teams to grow and contribute to the world.

Her expertise extends to strengths-based selection, employee engagement using Gallup’s Q12, and advising clients on various aspects of people management and human resources as a Human Capital Consultant.

Michelle has a unique passion for glasses and dishes, collecting various shapes and sizes of barware. Outside of her professional endeavors, Michelle enjoys fitness, healthy living, flower gardening, and interior design. Michelle shares her life with her husband of 30+ years, a son attending UNO, and a daughter finishing law school at Creighton. Their household is also graced by the presence of Finnegan, a sweet and devilish Ragdoll kitten who brings unexpected laughter and joy to their home.
